Hey there. I'm Alex Walden, formerly Alexandra Elizabeth Coulter Cooke, formerly Alex Earlbeck . I was born on May 11, 1981 in Baltimore, Maryland. My family and I moved to Virginia when I was 9, and I went off to all girls boarding school, Madeira, my sophomore year- a challenging and rewarding experience.
For college, I headed to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. I majored in Foreign Affairs, proving to be worthless choice for me, but a another great experience overall. I graduated in 2003 without honors.
Out of college jobs include giving tours at Jefferson's Monticello, working at a winery, and changing diapers for three year olds at a preschool.
I met my future husband Eric, also a UVA grad, in 2004. I then pursued my dream of moving to Prague in fall of 2005 (trying to "find myself"- still looking- in that magical Bohemian city.) I moved back in 2006. 6 months later then fiance Eric and I moved outside of Boulder, Colorado where we still live today.
We were married in Costa Rica and HMed in Peru in April 2008.
I am a NARHA certified therapeutic riding instructor, a calling I adore and appreciate.
